moon promo code MAXBONUS, and the pricing it does not change

Moon publishes no benefit for a referred account, so the verified figure on this page is the opening fee: 1% of the wager, identical at 10x and at 1000x.

Figures rebuilt 2026-08-27 by the MarketMoves editorial desk. Every number on this page is derived from the sources named in the methodology.

what is known about MAXBONUS, and what is not

Two things about the code are checkable. It exists in the venue registry as Moon's referral code, and the exit link from this site carries it, which is how attribution reaches the venue. Neither of those facts is a benefit to the account holder.

What a referred account receives is not published by Moon, so the venue record holds no value for it and this page claims none. No bonus figure, no deposit match and no rebate percentage appears here, on the hub table, or on any market page, because substituting a plausible number for an unpublished one is the failure this site is built to avoid. A referred account sees the terms Moon shows at signup, and those terms are the only authority on the question.

Everything below is verified against Moon's own documentation or the live product and is unaffected by whether a code was used, which is what makes it the useful part of the page.

the fee is 1% of the wager, so it does not scale with the multiplier

Moon charges its opening fee on the wager rather than on leveraged exposure, so a $100 wager costs $1.00 to open at 10x and $1.00 at 1000x. The exposure behind those two tickets differs by a factor of 100, and the entry cost does not move: Moon betting glossary, opening fee.

Because both the fee and the distance to liquidation scale with the wager, the ratio between them cancels leverage entirely. The opening fee is 1.00% of the distance from entry to the liquidation price at 10x and 1.00% of it at 1000x. Cost is therefore not the argument against a high multiplier on this venue, and the code would not be the argument for one either.

The argument is the last two columns of the table. Room to liquidation falls from 10.0% at 10x to 0.10% at 1000x, while the favourable move needed to cover entry stays at 0.10% of notional at 10x.

MarketMoves earns a commission when a reader opens an account through a link on this page. It costs the reader nothing and does not change the figures shown. Venue registry 2026-08-27a, reviewed through 2026-11-27. Opening costs are entry only: Moon charges a rolling fee every 8 hours at a rate it does not publish, and Hyperliquid funding is market set rather than a venue charge, so neither is included in any figure on this page. the ceiling is 1000x and the rung the session data supports is 20x

Moon applies one ceiling of 1000x to every market it lists, and it lists 50 of the 50 markets tracked here: placing your first bet. The ceiling is what gets advertised; the rung that survives a given hold is what settles the outcome.

Taking the highest rung whose distance to liquidation exceeds the 95th-percentile adverse excursion over rolling windows of that length, and the worse of the long and short side, the answer on Moon was 500x over one minute on 21 of 46 markets, 20x over a session on 26 of 46, and 5x over a week on 24 of 45. Choosing between those three costs or saves the whole wager; a code cannot reach any of them.

how to choose the rung

loss is capped at the wager, with no maintenance buffer ahead of it

Moon closes a bet once it has lost the wager, so the maximum loss is the amount committed and the liquidation price sits exactly one part in the multiplier away, at 10.0% for 10x and 0.10% for 1000x. The venue record (Moon leverage documentation) states the cap as wager: Loss is capped at the wager.

Two costs sit outside every figure on this page. Moon charges a rolling fee every 8 hours at a rate it does not publish, and any settlement spread is likewise undocumented, so both are named and excluded rather than estimated. Every cost figure here is a floor rather than an estimate, and the exclusion is the reason.

the practice mode needs no deposit and no code

Moon carries a play money mode, and the venue record marks a deposit as not required for it. It costs nothing, it requires no referral code, and it prices the same ladder shown above, which makes it the cheapest way to establish how fast 0.10% of room disappears on a real tape.

The alternative order, of funding an account first and discovering the runway at 1000x afterwards, costs the wager for the same information. On the worked ticket that is $100, against $1.00 of entry cost at 10x.
