the arrangement
MarketMoves earns a commission when a reader opens an account through a link on this page. It costs the reader nothing and does not change the figures shown.
Links that carry that commission are marked with
rel="nofollow sponsored" so a search engine can see the
relationship as clearly as a reader can.
what it does not influence
- The statistics. They are arithmetic on vendor bars and the commission has no term in the formula.
- Whether a link appears. An instrument gets a Moon link only if somebody verified it is on Moon, and that verification expires after 30 days. Right now most instruments do not qualify, so most pages carry no link at all.
- Whether a catalyst is published. Approval is an editorial decision and no commercial outcome depends on it.
where the referral code is suppressed
Monetary inducements tied to trading are restricted for retail clients in several jurisdictions, and retail leverage there is capped far below the multipliers shown in the simulator. The referral block and the upper rungs are gated by region. Where a jurisdiction prohibits the inducement, the code is not displayed.
the thing being simulated
This site does not accept deposits, hold positions, route orders or execute anything. It models the mechanics of a leveraged position on third-party price data. Indicative example based on third-party market data. Moon's reference price, spread, fees, settlement and liquidation rules may produce a different result.
