Bitcoin Cash (BCH) leverage simulator

10x survived every one of the last 30 sessions on BCH. Nothing above it did. Set a wager and a multiplier up to 1000x on Bitcoin Cash below.

Verdict

At 100x, a 1.0% move against you ends the position. BCH moved that far on 68 of the last 90 sessions.

Warning

20x is the ceiling, and it is not a safe one. Every step up shrinks the move that closes you out: 1.0% at 100x, 0.2% at 500x.

Where you can trade it
Moon lists BCH, and the code MARKET applies on the way in. Opening costs 1 per cent of your wager at every level on the range.Availability checked 2026-08-27.

Why it moved

BCH put in a 0.50 per cent rise inside its 3.97 per cent normal day, quiet enough that no source search was run.

What BCH did to leverage in 12 hours

BCH moved 0.92 per cent up in 12 hours, $218.100 to $220.100. Right side and wrong multiplier: 100x on BCH was liquidated after 62 minutes against $100.83 left at 2x. 8 of 18 BCH multipliers did not finish the 12 hours, the last of them 100x short after 8.8 hours. 50x was the highest BCH multiplier left open either way. You paid 1 per cent of your stake for the 100x BCH round trip and 0.01 per cent of price returns it, some 0.3 per cent of a normal session.

Where Bitcoin Cash has been trading

You are pricing BCH at $220.100, up 1.52 per cent today and down 3.55 per cent across five sessions. Over three months BCH is up 11.33 per cent. Thirty sessions of BCH ran $199.700 to $232.100, leaving you 5.17 per cent off the top of it and 10.22 per cent off the bottom.

How far BCH moves in a session

Realised BCH volatility is 51.5 per cent over 30 sessions and 72.7 per cent over 90, so active is the honest label. An ordinary BCH day swings 2.69 per cent either side of flat, and at its worst BCH fell 15.32 per cent below an open in the last 90 sessions.

The multiplier BCH actually survives

Run the last 30 BCH sessions and 10x is the most you could have held without being closed out, with your liquidation 10 per cent away. Stretch the BCH window to 90 sessions and it drops to 5x. On one-minute BCH bars the median bar travels 0.0446 per cent and 11.4 per cent of them are wide enough on their own to close 1000x.

Max loss distance is one part in the leverage, because Moon closes a wager once it has lost the wager and documents no maintenance buffer. Hit count is the number of the last 90 sessions where the low fell that far below the session open, i.e. where a long opened at the open would have reached its max loss price intraday. Cost is Moon's 1% opening fee, charged on the wager and not on the exposure, so it does not change from one multiplier to the next. A rolling fee applies every 8 hours at a rate Moon does not publish and is not included.

What BCH costs you to open

Opening BCH takes 1 per cent of what you put up, so a $100 wager pays $1 whether it is controlling $200 or $100,000. What changes is your room, and an average BCH session covers the 100x liquidation distance 3.7 times over. Your costs on BCH beyond the 1 per cent are a rolling fee at 8 hour intervals at an unpublished rate, plus a settlement spread Moon does not document.

BCH leverage questions

What multiplier is realistic on BCH?

10x, the highest BCH multiplier that avoided liquidation on every one of the last 30 sessions. A 10 per cent move against you closes the BCH wager.

What does opening a wager on BCH cost you?

1 per cent of your BCH wager, the same at 2x as at 1000x. Hold BCH past 8 hours and a rolling fee is added at a rate Moon does not publish.

Does 1000x make sense on BCH?

Your max loss price sits 0.10 per cent from entry, which BCH covered on 86 of the last 90 sessions. The length of your BCH hold settles it rather than the 1 per cent fee.

Before you take this to Moon

Everything above is derived from independent third-party market data. Moon prices its own book: the reference price, the spread it quotes, its fee schedule, its funding rate and its liquidation engine are all Moon's, and they will produce a different number from this page.

Every multiplier above is measured on BCH's own last 30 sessions rather than on a market average, so it tells you how leverage behaves on BCH and nothing else. Price your own BCH size on Moon against those 30 sessions before you commit to it.

Hyperliquid lists BCH too, at up to 10x rather than 1000x, so it is the other place to price this position. The Hyperliquid platform review carries its fee basis, its funding interval and the liquidation rule that decides how far BCH can move against you. Its referral code is documented to take 4 per cent off those fees on your early BCH volume.

What this simulator is

Prices come from Twelve Data, an independent market-data vendor, and are indicative. Moon's own reference price, spread, fee schedule, funding and liquidation rules will produce a different result. No money is staked here, no order is routed, and no position exists on any platform. At 1000× leverage a 0.01% difference between this chart and Moon's settlement feed moves the position value by roughly 10% of the stake, so treat every number below as an illustration of mechanics rather than a forecast of outcome.

Leverage arithmetic used

Exposure = stake × leverage. Long P/L = exposure × (mark − entry) ÷ entry. Short P/L = exposure × (entry − mark) ÷ entry. Entry takes the ask for a long and the bid for a short; closing does the reverse, so the spread is charged on the round trip. Liquidation triggers when equity falls to the maintenance margin, i.e. at an adverse move of (1 − leverage × maintenance rate) ÷ leverage.

Jurisdiction

Leverage caps, incentive bans and product classification differ by country. Retail CFD rules in the EU cap equity leverage far below the levels shown in this demo and restrict monetary incentives such as rakeback, so the referral block and the maximum selectable leverage must be gated per market before any page goes live. 18+. Trading leveraged products carries a high risk of losing your capital.
